Beacon Deployment and integration Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) beacons-based indoor positioning is a promising method for indoor positioning, especially in applications of position-based services (PbS). It has low deployment cost and it is suitable for a wide range of mobile devices. The deployment cost for BLE beacons is low. Once the beacons are deployed, it can continuously work for a long duration (e.g., half a year) using their inner batteries, because the beacon nodes have low power consumption.
